TrueFriend/Broadway Producing Partner Alan Levey brings years of high-profile experience to the TrueFriend management team.

From 1997 to 2008, he was the General Manager of Disney Theatrical Productions, and was responsible for the overall management and rollout of the Broadway and worldwide touring theatrical versions of The Lion King, Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, Tarzan, Beauty and The Beast, Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and High School Musical. 

Previously, Alan was the Founding Managing Director of the prestigious La Jolla Playhouse and was part of the team that managed and produced the Broadway bound productions of The Who’s Tommy… the musical, the Tony award winning musical Big River, and A Walk in the Woods.

Alan lives in New York and currently serves as the Director of Special Projects at The National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
